Michael “Mike” Hiner was consecrated as a Deacon on April 7, 2019
at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cordova. He completed
over thirty credits via Select Learning, an online source of
theological education approved by the ELCA, and a number of
classes at Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg . He trained
as a chaplain at Shore Health System in Easton. He enjoys preaching,
working with youth and strategic planning.

Mike is the president of a local construction company. He resides
with his wife of 46 years in between Easton and Cordova. They have
two grown children, a 14-year-old son, and three grandsons under
the age of 8.
